Off the Beaten Path - Ohio Forts with Keith Whitehead, Tuesday, April 22nd @ 4PM

Keith Whitehead PhotographTuesday, April 22nd @ 4PM - Gaier Room of the Main Library, 201 S. Fountain Avenue.

Spend an afternoon exploring the defense of Ohio involving its many fortified structures from pre-statehood through the civil war.  Ohio's location required necessary structures from single blockhouses and trading posts to huge military complexes for our young nation.  From Fort Miami to Camp Chase, over 40 sites have stood across the state.  Our own engaging historian and photographer, Keith Whitehead, will dazzle you about little know locations and fortifications.
