Dream Big - READ! with the 2012 Children's Summer Reading Program
Hey kids! It's time to "Dream Big - READ" with our 2012 Children's Summer Reading Program from June 4th - July 31st, 2012.
Want to participate in the SRP? Just visit any of our five library locations or the Bookmobiles and get registered beginning June 4th. We'll give you an entry card. Check-out something great to read and when you return your items, we will stamp your entry card. Once you receive 5 stamps on your entry card, fill out the back and enter it for our prize drawing.
Friends of the Library Book Sale - June 8th, 9th, and 10th
Join us for three days of fabulous bargains and undiscovered treasures as the Friends of the Library present their annual Book Sale to benefit the Clark County Public Library. Hosted at the United Senior Services - Pitzer Center (101 S. Fountain Avenue, Springfield, OH), this annual sale features three days of savings!
Friday, June 8th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. - This is a pre-sale for Friends members ONLY. Join tonight.
Saturday, June 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Today the sale is open to everyone. Shop early for the best selection.
Teens - Summer is Your Chance to "Own the Night"
Attention teens! Participate in the Teen Summer Reading Program by picking up a Summer Reading Journal and signing a Summer Reading Contract at any of our library locations (Lenski Room if at the Main Library).
Pledge to read a certain number of minutes per day from June 4th - July 28th and be entered in a drawing for our Teen Grand Prize of a $50 Walmart Gift Card!
Winners will be selected August 13th, 2012.
