Once in a Blue Moon: Fine Forgiveness Week

Do you have some overdue items that you’ve never returned?  Are you afraid to find out how much you owe in fines?  During the week of July 26th through August 1st you can bring back those overdue books, movies, framed art, or music and get your fines forgiven!  We’ll also replace your lost library cards for free.  So gather up those forgotten library items and visit any Clark County Public Library location to get your fines waived.  *Some exclusions apply.

Teen Comic Con (ages 13-18) Main

Teens!  Come dressed as your favorite character, bring your own manga, graphic novel or comic book that you have created to share with other teens who share your interests.  Main Street Comics and Games will have tables to show off comics and games.  Food and drinks will be provided.

This program will take place at the Main Library, 201 South Fountain Avenue, Springfield, OH.  Please call (937) 328-6905 for more information.

Hunters of the Sky (all ages) Park

Swoop into Park Branch to see a hawk, a falcon, and an owl, all native Ohio birds of prey!  Presented by the Glen Helen Raptor Center, you will learn about their special adaptations that make these birds of prey masters of the hunt.

Please call (937) 322-2498 or stop by the Park Branch to register.  Please arrive about 15 minutes prior to the start of the programm.
