No school today?  Come to the library for Fun Winter Activities!

12:30 PM - Movie, Earth's Seasons (grade level 4+) - Bill Nye the Science Guy goes full tilt to give the reasons for the seasons.  In Earth's Seasons, his worldly perspective shows why it's winter in America when it's summer in Australia.

1:30-4:30 PM - Winter Crafts - Children of all ages are invited to stop in anytime between 1:30 and 4:30 PM to make winter crafts to take home.

Movies & Science (for families) - Houston

No school today?  Come to the library!  Feel free to bring your own brown bag lunch.  Popcorn and water will be provided.

12:30 p.m. - Volcanoes - (grade level 4+)  Bill Nye discusses how volcanoes erupt, how they're formed and more.  After the movie, watch as a librarian demonstrates an erupting volcano.  An instruction sheet will be handed out so you can go home and try the science experiment yourself.
