OCTOBER SELECTION - Mystery Writers of America Cookbook

Join us for an evening of chattin' and chewin' at our Dine & Dish Cookbook Club!  Stop by the Main Library Reference Desk to select a recipe from the latest cookbook, then bring your dish to the meeting time listed below.  For adults ages 18 and up. Please call (937) 328-6903 for more information.

Note: a handout with complete guidelines is available at the Reference Desk, along with a waiver for participants to sign.

Kids' Comic Con (families with children 12 and younger) Main

The city of Leskiopolis is being overrun by evildoers!  We need ALL heroes young and old, big and small, to put a stop to them!  Web up your enemies, escape their elaborate traps, and take home trophies of your triumphs!

Come to the library for some SUPER fun activities, games, crafts and more.  Feel free to come dressed as your favorite super hero or character.  Main Street Comics and Games will have tables to show off comics and games.

Springfield Police Department K-9 Operations (families with children 12 and younger) Main

Come and meet community heroes Officer Kevin Hoying and his partner Spike!  pike is trained for handler protection, narcotics detection and tracking.

This program will take place in the Gaier Room of the Main Library, 201 South Fountain Avenue.  Please call (937) 328-6905 for more information.

** Note: space in the Gaier Room is limited.  We cannot guarantee that everyone who comes to this program will be able to participate.  We cannot accommodate groups greater than 10 people from the same organization.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the program.
