Friends of the Library Annual Meeting

Join us for the Friends of the Library Annual Meeting.  We'll have a short business meeting, followed by the presentation of the 2013 Lois Lenski Award and a fantastic program presented by Theodore Roosevelt (aka Larry Marple).  You won't want to miss it.

We Need to Talk - Family Conversations with Older Drivers

Need help having "the talk" with a loved one?  Sponsored by AARP Driver Safety, this class guides families in determining when it's time for their loved one to hang up the keys.

The seminar offers practical tips and advice on three main topics:

The Meaning of Driving - Find out what driving means to older adults and the emotions they may face when having to give it up.

Friends of the Library Annual Meeting (Main)

Join us for a fun and educational evening with President Theodore Roosevelt (portrayed by Mr. Larry Marple).  Larry has studied the 26th president extensively and enjoys sharing his knowledge with fellow history buffs.

Other items on the agenda include a brief report on the Friends activities and the presentation of the Lois Lenski Award.

Light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there!
