Every Hero Has a Story - Fire and Rescue Heroes! (families with children 12 and younger) - Main

Come to the Main Library to learn fire safety drills, and see firefighter gear and a fire truck up close thanks to the Springfield Fire and Rescue Department.  Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the program.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.  Due to limited space, we cannot guarantee that everyone who comes to the program will be able to participate.  Groups of 10 or more from the same organization cannot be accommodated.

2015 Springfield Writes Author Fair (all ages) - Main

You are invited to join us for our second annual Springfield Writes Local Author Fair on Saturday, April 25th from 1-4 PM at the Main Library, 201 South Fountain Avenue, Springfield, OH.

Spend the afternoon meeting a variety of local, published authors.  Many different genres of books will be represented.  Get tips on how to get published and more!  Books will be available for purchase.

Pretend Play (ages 3-5) - Main

Children between the ages of 3-5 are invited to come to the Lenski Program Room every Wednesday in April and May for our new Pretend Play program.  Let your imaginations run free as you imagine all the things you can be with our different props and costumes!
