Fairies, Gnomes & Trolls...Oh, My! (families)
Wednesday, June 5th, 6:30 PM—Meeting Room
As a family, create a whimsical miniature gardenscape that gnomes and fairies can call home. You design it, you make the “little folk” and if you dare, add a troll to your make-believe world. Registration is required.
Kid’s Crafts @ Park (ages 3-12)
Wednesday, June 12th & Thursday, July 25th, 3:00-4:30 PM—Meeting Room
On June 12th, kids may drop in anytime between 3:00 & 4:30 PM to create a bookmark. You can step back into the 70’s and make a gum wrapper chain bookmark, fold your way through an origami corner bookmark or be creative and decorate a bookmark any way you choose. On July 25th kids are invited to chase away the summer doldrums and explore their crafty sides. We’ll have several great projects to choose from.
Dig Into Reading with Mr. Puppet (families)

Come enjoy this variety show of ventriloquism and comedy featuring Cousin Joey the Mouse, a dinosaur puppet, skeleton puppet and many more! Space is limited. Pick up entry tickets at the Park Circulation Desk one hour prior to the performance.
Dig Into History (ages 8-12)
Wednesday, June 26th, 2:00 PM—Meeting Room
Join Captain James and Mrs. Kay Ruley for a fun-filled hour as you discover photography, music and flags used during the Civil War. View actual Civil War heirlooms as you are taken back in time to 1865. Registration is required.
Discover New Trails with Mike Hemmelgarn (all ages)
Wednesday, July 10th, 3:00 PM—Meeting Room
Meet ventriloquist Mike Hemmelgarn and his puppet friends. Enjoy madcap juggling, comedy, magic, balloons and audience participation! Space is limited. Pick up entry tickets at the Park Circulation Desk one hour prior to the performance.
Under the Sea (ages 3-6)
Wednesday, July 17th, 11:00 AM—Meeting Room
Discover what creatures live under the sea. Explore the underwater world with stories, crafts and other activities. Registration is required.
Green Thumb Garden (ages 7-12)
Wednesday, July 31st, 3:00 PM—Meeting Room
Make a soda bottle hanging planter to take home with you. Create a mini-environment for growing plants and having your own tiny garden to tend. Registration is required.
